Films Watched[edit | edit source]
- Future War (Sci-Fi)
- The Jar (Horror)
- White Fire (Action)
While The Love Butcher was planned to be shown as the horror film, the tape got caught in a VCR and was replaced.
Votes[edit | edit source]
- Jay Bauman: Future War
- Josh “The Wizard”: Future War
- Mike Stoklasa: Future War
- Rich Evans: Future War
Future War was determined the winner by unanimous vote.
Mike praised Future War as “the best thing we’ve seen”.
White Fire was not voted for Best of the Worst or destruction, but the panel was universally disgusted by it. Rich Evans called it “poorly disguised fetish porn.”
The Jar was destroyed by vote. The cassette was sealed inside a jar of acetone and left to be “pickled” by Scientist Man.
Description[edit | edit source]
Oh no! It’s a Battle of the Genres episode of Best of the Worst! This episodes features both one of the best movies the group has ever watched on the show, as well as one of the worst. Also, Robert Z’dar wears his best Borg cosplay.
Themes[edit | edit source]
Mike drinks throughout the video from a comically oversized flask.
The Jar is pickled in acetone.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
Daniel Bernhardt, star of Future War, eventually became a highly-billed Hollywood stunt actor. He is credited in The Matrix Reloaded and John Wick.
Commenter @Takimeko mentioned this with regards to "Obscure Sighs".
Obscure Sighs was, according to lead actor Gary Wallace, literally just the director and the cinematographer making the soundtrack to the movie within the span of a single night after having finished the final cut.
