The "Ring the bell" system has some kinks to work out...
So does Donald Farmer!
Best of the Worst: Donald Farmer's Market is the 133rd episode of Best of the Worst.
Tim is surprised to find that Jay has set up a simulated farmer's market themed around Donald Farmer, most known for Shark Exorcist.
Jay lays out the gimmick: Rather than watching all films front to back, the panelists will only continue watching the film if they are interested enough in it after the 10 minute mark. However, if a panelist opts into watching the film, they must watch the entire film, and it will be their candidate for Best of the Worst. Rather than voting, Jay will select the winner because he is "an expert pervert."
Films Watched[edit | edit source]
The films are ordered by IMDB review scores, starting at the most highly rated.
- Demolition Highway
- Scream Dream
- Cannibal Hookers
- Hooker with a Hacksaw
- Vampire Cop
- Compelling Evidence
- Debbie Does Demons
These two films were named, but were not screened, although clips of them appear during the montages at the beginning of the episode.
- Cannibal Cop
- Vicious Kiss
Films Selected[edit | edit source]
- Jack Packard: Scream Dream
- Tim Higgins: Vampire Cop
- Mike Stoklasa: Debbie Does Demons
Judging[edit | edit source]
Jay judged Vampire Cop as the winner.
Mike claimed that, had there been no "Theatrical cut", Vampire Cop would have been "a healthy contender for being the worst movie [they've] seen."
The other films were slated for destruction. Mike exorcised the films via smudging... and then promptly threw them in the trash.

It's that time again! The time where we punish ourselves for no real reason and no real gain. Donald Farmer is one of our most hated filmmakers and his movies make us physically ill, so it only made sense to watch as many of them as possible in one sitting. What is our final conclusion on his filmography as a whole? The answers may shock you! Actually they won't.
We sampled many Farmer films in this viewing but the main ones that are discussed are Scream Dream (1989), Vampire Cop (1990) and Debbie Does Demons (2023).
Themes[edit | edit source]
Jay makes fun of CinemaSins when Jack points out a line being delivered incorrectly.
A lightbulb burns out while Mike is discussing Debbie Does Demons.
Mike calls Vampire Cop a contender for the worst film they've ever seen.
Previously On[edit | edit source]
Donald Farmer's other two films, Dorm of the Dead and Shark Exorcist, were previously seen on Best of the Worst.
Jay recognizes the mother from Cannibal Hookers, whose actress was previously seen on Vampire Assassin, Hack-O-Lantern, and Cathy's Curse.
