The 220th episode of Half in the Bag wraps up discussion about Cocaine Bear, Knock at the Cabin, and The Whale.
Jay and Mike are still locked up in The Plinkett Household watching static on Mr. Plinkett’s TV. Instead, they talk about some relatively recent films.
The two contrast Knock at the Cabin, which Mike constantly mistitles, with Snow Falls (2023). They briefly discuss The Academy Awards allowing sequels to be nominated as “adapted screenplays” when discussing The Whale. Finally, they deride Cocaine Bear.
Description[edit | edit source]
Cocaine Bear! It’s that movie that everyone was joking about for about a week and then completely forgot. Jay and Mike talk about it. They also talk about Knock at the Cabin, the latest film from N. Night Shyamalan. It’s about a cabin that has a knock at the cabin. They also talk about The Whale, starring Cocaine Bear!
Themes[edit | edit source]
Mike comments on Jay enjoying morbid films.
Mike says he laughed during The Whale similarly to how he laughs at the elderly.
Jay asks for Zack Baggins to investigate Avatar: The Way of Water showings.
