Best of the Worst (Award)
In Best of the Worst, panelists are expected to vote for a “winner” among all selected videos, which will be crowned the titular Best of the Worst.
It is worth noting that the Best of the Worst award is incredibly dependent on the “contestants” for a given episode. Many panelists have mentioned in the past that movies like Miami Connection swept the competition despite enjoyable showings from the other films that night, so winning is not a guarantee of quality.

List of losers
Uncommonly, some films featured on Best of the Worst are considered so bad that they are slated for “destruction”.
The method of destruction can vary from video to video: earlier videos took a literal meaning of destruction and would physically break the tape or DVD, while later episodes would include short sketches where the tape is humiliated in some way.
- The Wheel of the Worst (Episode): *Candid Candid Camera* and *The Dance of Birth* were both immolated and bludgeoned.
- Future War, The Jar, and White Fire: *The Jar* is "pickled" in a jar of acetone.
- Hawk the Slayer and THE ACTOR FROM MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE with the X-ray Eyes: *The Kid with the X-Ray Eyes* was filmed attacking Rich. Like the episode's winner, the sequence was shot on VHS and included a facsimile of in-camera editing.
- Battle of the Genres: *Interceptor Force* was mailed to Hollywood Fitness, a former Hollywood Video location, so that it may "rot in an abandoned video store forever."
