Needs images Due to the reckless disregard for property and sets that is common on Red Letter Media, objects are often destroyed in a spectacular manner. == Best of the Worst losers == Traditionally, Best of the Worst would select a loser in addition to a winner. The loser would be destroyed as a jab that the film was “so bad nobody deserves to watch it.” As the series has continued this practice became less common and films were only destroyed if they were particularly heinous (as evident by the occasional question along the lines of “is there anything we want to destroy?”) Not all “destructions” actually result in the physical destruction of the tape. This list is only concerned with situations where the tape in question is actually damaged beyond repair. For a full list of tapes that were voted to be “destroyed”, see Best of the Worst (Award)#List of losers. * The Wheel of the Worst (Episode): Candid Candid Camera and The Dance of Birth were lit aflame, hacked at, and bashed, all the while with the panel cheering their destruction. * Future War, The Jar, and White Fire: The Jar is “pickled” in a jar of acetone. * Bad Movie Scavenger Hunt Too: Ultra Warrior is cut in half with a table saw. == The Wheel of the Worst == The Wheel of the Worst There have been five wheels in the time since Wheel of the Worst was introduced to Best of the Worst. So far the first three have been destroyed, either accidentally or on purpose. === Wheel 1 === The first wheel was broken when Jack Packard knocked it over in celebrationJune 2024, breaking the wood holding it together. The entire spinning segment was replaced, which prompted this to be referred to as a “new wheel”. === Wheel 2 === The second wheel suffered the most abuse out of any of the other wheels. The crew attempted to throw it away, but the City of Milwaukee rejected it for disposal, returning it alongside other rejected trash items to RLM. Finally, Mike Stoklasa knocked it over while celebrating about Octopuff in KumquatJune 2024. This split the wheel right down the center around the spoke that worked the entire mechanism, prompting Rich Evans to scream “No! No! It’s gone!” This wheel was gussied up for a brief cameoJune 2024 before the reveal of Wheel 3 and was destroyed ceremoniously by Jim and Colin from Canada. === Wheel 3 === The third wheel was built on its side to prevent abuse like this from taking place again, and to make the wheel sturdier and easier to spin. This wheel was largely untouched (though some people seemed to have trouble applying enough force to spin it) until Mike and Rich dropped a safe onto it to crush a Billy B. sing-along tape.June 2024 == The Plinkett Household == The Plinkett Household is regularly subjected to abuse on Half in the Bag. * Black Widow: Apropos of nothing, a window curtain rod falls off the set. * 10 Year Anniversary!: George Lucas has a lackey break several objects around the house. == Other destructions == * Jack and Jill: Jay and Mike smash beer steins against each other, demolishing them. * Best of the Worst: Future War, The Jar, and White Fire: A VHS of The Love Butcher destroys itself and a VCR by getting stuck inside. * Nerd Crew Live!!! Star Wars News!!!: While the electrocution and sparks from the Darth Vader toaster are computer generated effects, and the smoke is generated on purpose, the toaster itself is physically damaged by being duct taped shut. Utensils are damaged and—in turn—damage the toaster when they are jammed into the device, and a Sith Trooper figurine is bashed against it to stop the smoke. Finally, Rich Evans tears an autographed poster into shreds, stuffing it into the mechanism to shut it down completely. * Half in the Bag: Late Night with the Devil: A tool Jay is using explodes. Mike refers to it as a "self-sealing stem bolt," which is the name of a tool from Star Trek == See Also == * Objects being recklessly thrown
