'''''re:View''''' is a standard film critique and retrospective show, stylized as being more honest and friendly than the usual ''Red Letter Media'' fare.

In contrast to the more cynical ''[[Half in the Bag]]'' or the more comedic ''[[Best of the Worst]]'', ''re:View'' explores older and more well known films, as well as a couple of cult classics and personal favorites from the ''Red Letter Media'' stable.

''re:View'' also tends to be the show of choice for reviewing newer television shows if the crew has specific critiques that would make for a more structured discussion regarding its composition or its place in culture. Compare ''[[Movie Talk]]'', which is more casual.

== re:Visit ==

A spin-off of ''re:View'', '''''re:Visit''''', was devised for films that one or several hosts had forgotten about or not seen prior to the filming. The show is largely the same aside from this caveat to frame the opinions of the hosts.

Several episodes of ''re:View'' followed this format before it was officially introduced with [[Mars Attacks!|Mars Attacks! - re:Visit]].
